Breanna, the Mastermind Behind Typebee

Branding, Film, Portrait

When Breanna of Typebee approached me to photograph her in her studio, I was elated! You see, Breanna was the one who created my beautiful and timeless letterpress business cards and thank-you cards. Since I firsthand have the opportunity to look at her fantastic work every day, I was honored to be asked to document and better understand her process.

Breanna, originally from the Midwest, recently moved to Spokane with her daughter. In Coeur D’Alene, she started to letterpress for a local coffee company, creating whimsical labels for their coffee retail bags.

After a while, she was able to start taking on new clients and has recently become a staple for beautiful branding in the Spokane and Coeur D’Alene area.

Below, you’ll able to see the letterpress process from start to finish, starting with the stamps, oiling the machine, putting the ink on the press, and then pressing the ink into the paper.

You can view Breanna’s company here to see more of her work.
