The third installment in my Summer Evening Portraits series did not disappoint. This project started out as an exploration in medium format film photography but ended up being a way to get to know people I would not have had the chance to know otherwise.
Lavitta is a beautiful woman inside and out. She spent her life going back and forth from Senegal to Spokane, WA… the little, big city I call home. She spends her time at the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery where she helps the organization “provide safety for children, strengthens families and creates a healthier community in an environment of unconditional love.” She’s an amazing woman that I am so honored to call my friend.
This series has given me a new love and excitement for photography. So much so that I’m going to start using film solely in my business. I cannot wait to bring you along the journey and share more and more work with you in the future.
Please enjoy these beautiful images of my new friend Lavitta. If you are ever interested in a session like this, please let me know. It would be an honor to work together and provide you with beautiful images.
